Privacy Overview
Aviation Converter is designed with privacy-first principles and collects no personal information. The app performs all conversions locally on your device.
Data Collection & Usage
We Collect:
- No Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data.
- No Accounts: The app works without registration or sign-in.
- No Analytics / No Ads: We do not track usage and do not serve ads.
Local Data Storage
- Preferences: Unit settings and app options are saved locally on your device.
- Conversion History: Recent calculations may be stored locally (e.g., last 20 items).
- No Cloud: Data remains on your device and is removed upon uninstall.
Processing
- Local Processing: Calculations run on-device. No server is contacted for conversions.
- Network Use: Internet may be required to complete purchases and receive updates.
In-App Purchases (One-Time Unlock)
Aviation Converter offers a non-consumable in-app purchase to unlock full functionality.
- Apple App Store / Google Play: Payments are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive your payment card data.
- Receipts: The app may validate purchase receipts with Apple/Google. We do not link receipts to an identifiable user and we do not store them beyond what the platforms require for validation.
- Restore Purchases: You can restore your purchase on the same platform using the app’s “Restore Purchases” option.
Third-Party Services
- Platform Services Only: App Store / Google Play billing, system frameworks (e.g., fonts, icons).
- No Third-Party Analytics or Ads: None integrated.
Note: Apple and Google may process limited technical or purchase information under their own privacy policies.
Security
- Preferences and history remain on your device in app storage/sandbox.
- We request minimal permissions necessary for functionality.
Your Rights (GDPR)
Because we do not collect personal data, requests like access, correction, deletion, or portability generally do not apply. If you have questions, contact us at office@caselib.ro.
Children’s Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children and contains no tracking or ads.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be indicated here and in release notes. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
